Previously, The Witcher producers expressed confidence in a smooth transition from Henry Cavill to Hemsworth for season 4. 

This comes after season 3 received mixed reviews from fans, with some citing deviations from the source material by Andrzej Sapkowski.

Plot details for season 4 remain undisclosed, but many questions surround the characters’ fates after a dramatic season 3 finale. In which Geralt (now played by Hemsworth), Yennefer (Anya Chalotra), and Ciri (Freya Allan) were left separated in a war-torn world.
