Julianne Hough, who rose to fame as professional dancer, has opened how her sisters feel sad for not getting opportunity to try their luck in Hollywood.
The 37-year-old TV personality joined the ABC’s Dancing with the Stars in 2007, which became a source of her popularity as she won two seasons with her celebrity partners.
Meanwhile, her brother Derek is also known as one of the most popular professional dancers and choreographers in showbiz. He was also part of the same show as his sister.
But Derek broke records by winning six times on Dancing with the Stars.
The duo also has three more sisters namely Sharee, 48, Marabeth, 44 and Katherine, 43, who have “sung and danced” when they were young.
But life took them on a “different path” as they did not turn out as popular as their other two siblings.
On September 9, Julianne appeared for an interview on Not Skinny But But Not Fat podcast where she revealed what her sisters are doing in their lives.
“My oldest sister, she started in the Mormon way, so she got married at 19 and had six kids.”
She further revealed, “My second sister moved to Nashville to be a country star and my third sister wanted to be an actress.”
According to the Safe Haven actress, there is no jealousy among them, but they do feel sad for not getting an opportunity to experience fame.
“They’re so happy, so, so, so happy. They have great lives, and they love their life. But, we had an opportunity that they didn’t have. And it’s hard”, explained the Footloose star.
