Cardi B has entered the Guinness Book of World Records after her sophomore album launch combined music with technology in an unprecedented way.
In partnership with Walmart, Wing Drone Delivery, and Atlantic Records, Cardi B organised a promotional stunt that saw 176 copies of her new album Am I the Drama? delivered by drones within a single hour.
The feat was officially verified by Guinness Senior Executive Kylie Galloway, establishing a new world record for the most drone deliveries in one hour.
The deliveries coincided with the album’s release day, transforming its arrival into a large-scale cultural event.
Fans in Fort Worth, Dallas received physical copies via UAV drones, giving the rollout a distinctive twist compared with conventional album launches.
Cardi B shared her excitement on X, stating: “I can’t even believe this getting my album from my album has been literally flying off the shelf from Walmart … I’m so thankful because we even broke the most deliveries in one hour.”
Am I the Drama? debuted at number one on its first day, surpassing releases by Nine Inch Nails, Miley Cyrus, and Ed Sheeran.
