Top stars to light up Super Bowl Sunday

SANTA CLARA/
CALIFORNIA:

Grammy-winning singers Brandi Carlile and Coco Jones, along with Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Charlie Puth, will perform before the kickoff of Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, on February 8, 2026.

The NFL announced that Puth will sing the national anthem, Carlile will perform ‘America the Beautiful’, and Jones will sing ‘Lift Every Voice and Sing’. “Super Bowl Sunday is the world’s biggest entertainment stage,” said Jon Barker, NFL senior vice president of event production.

“Beyond the game itself, the Super Bowl is a global celebration,” he added. “We’re proud to spotlight artists who embody the very best of music and culture. These artists bring a distinct voice to the moment, helping set the tone for a day that will captivate fans worldwide.” Desiree Perez, CEO of Roc Nation, called the trio “generational talents” who will be joined by deaf performers during the songs. Deaf music artist Fred Beam will perform ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ and ‘Lift Every Voice and Sing’, while Julian Ortiz will deliver ‘America the Beautiful’.

Three-time Grammy winner Bad Bunny of Puerto Rico was announced in September as the halftime performer for Super Bowl LX. Deaf performer Celimar Rivera Cosme of Puerto Rico will participate in a multilingual signing programme, a first for the NFL halftime show. Carlile, 44, is an 11-time Grammy winner, two-time Emmy winner, Oscar nominee, and New York Times best-selling author. Her eighth studio album, ‘Returning to Myself’, was released in October. Her collaboration with Elton John, ‘Who Believes in Angels’, released in April, earned a Grammy nomination for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.

Puth, 33, is a four-time Grammy nominee and multi-platinum singer, songwriter, and producer with over 35 billion streams. His global hits include ‘See You Again, Attention’, and ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore’.

Jones, 27, won a Grammy for Best R&B Performance in 2024 for ICU and has eight Grammy nominations. Her debut album, ‘Why Not More’, is nominated for Best R&B Album at the 2026 awards ceremony.
